Would you allow the Japanese to build a war memorial at the site of Pearl Harbor. That is exactly what this mosque is a war memorial to show the victory of Islam over America. Just like Islam has done through out history, temple mount has a mosque, the Hagia Sophia was a Christian cathedral then a mosque, even the name of the group building the site Cordoba group is a reference to the Muslims taking over Cordoba Spain.
